Finally
I finally finished my Broadripple socks yesterday. My first pair of “real” socks. (I had made a pair of tube socks before that as well as the Training Sock.) I started them about a year ago, and finished the knitting part a month or two after that, but I never wove in those four measly ends. (Don’t look at me like that.) Now, I wouldn’t have felt too bad about these two neglected socks, if I hadn’t finished, um, four other pairs, plus one sock each of two additional pairs.
Now, a warning. For now, this will be a mostly pictureless blog, since I don’t have a digital camera and only sometimes have a disposable one. I don’t know why I feel like I should apologize for this, because blogs without pictures should be just as valid as ones with them. Maybe this is because knitting is such a visual and tactile activity? Or because I know I prefer posts with pictures to those without?
P.S. I’ll do my best to make sure my links work, but I know very little about HTML, so if you see something I’ve missed, please let me know. :)
